CAST Dean Search - Dr. Jan Murphy announced the national search for the position of Dean of the College of Applied Science and Technology. Daphyne Walker (KNR) has been selected as the A/P representative. Dr. R.K. Jayaswal (Biology) is the Chair of the search committee. The Committee will begin their work in May, with the goal of forwarding its recommendations to Provost Sheri Everts in the Fall 2008 semester.

The Council's purpose is to serve in an advisory capacity to the administration regarding the general welfare of all Administrative/Professional employees. The Council helps ensure effective communication between the Administrative/Professional staff, Academic Senate, Board of Trustees, Student Government Association, Civil Service Council, and other appropriate campus constituencies.
